Preps have fall on their minds

Monday was the first official day of practice for fall high school sports teams not wearing helmets and pads.

Locally, Eatonville, Bethel and Graham-Kapowsin student-athletes in cross country, boys tennis, girls soccer, volleyball and girls swimming are getting ready for their first competitions in September. Bethel and Graham-Kapowsin also are fielding golf teams. (Football turnouts started last Wednesday). The seasons will be previewed in upcoming print and online editions of The Dispatch
