A girls’ fastpitch tournament drawing teams from as far away as Chehalis will be staged this weekend in Eatonville.
Eatonville Youth Sports Association (EYSA) and Varsity Pizza are hosting the tournament Saturday and Sunday at the Eatonville Eagles field. Games will start at 9 a.m. both days, ending at 7 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday. The champioinship game is scheduled for noon at the Eatonville High School field.
Beau Porter, tournamen tdirector for EYSA, said teams will be from Centralia, Chehalis, Edgewood, Lakewood, Puyallup, Tacoma and Yelm, in addition to Eatonville.
Vendor booths and a live DJ for music are planned along with the competition.

The Crushers 10U team would like to thank everyone involved in making the first annual tournament a success. All of the girls along with the coaching staff and families had a great time and look forward to next year!
