Swimmers can’t get most from pool’s hours

10:34 am June 20th, 2013

Glad to see that the Eatonville High School swimming pool is open to the public. However, hours assigned are setting up community use of the pool to fail.
With hours in the middle of the day, working parents and their children, as well as the retired community who are sometimes working or participating in community center activities, are unable to attend. With evening hours, more people are given the opportunity to attend, thus giving the swimming pool a greater chance of participation for all ages.

I completely agree! I swam regularly at the pool last year when it was open in the evenings. I miss swimming and would love to see the pool open after work hours so I can attend!
