Eatonville is the 2013 Nisqually League high school fastpitch champion.
The Cruisers wrapped up their title run Thursday with a 16-6 victory over Cedar Park. They’ll enter the tri-district playoffs May 18 in Kent and face an opponent still to be determined to decide their seeding in the state 1A tournament. The latter will be staged May 24-25 in Richland.
Against Cedar Park, Eatonville (12-0 in the Nisqually) was led by Maddy Smith, who was the winning pitcher and helped her cause with a 4-for-4 day batting. Her three runs batted in were matched by teammate Morgan Maida. Stacey West and KK Voss each had three hits.
