Story time with a princess

1:06 pm February 28th, 2013

Daffodil Festival princesses spent Feb. 23 reading stories to children at Pierce County Library System branch libraries.
The participating princesses at the branches in Eatonville, Graham and elswewhere included Annelise Litzenberger of Eatonville High School, Amy Berstein of Graham-Kapowsin, and Noelle Kaku of Bethel High School. They’re among 24 princesses from high schools throughout Pierce County who are candidates to be chosen as the festival’s queen. All of them are representing their schools and communities in festival activities, including the 80th Grand Floral Parade April 13.
More of the festival-sponsored “Read With a Princess” events are scheduled for March 16. Locations haven’t been announced.
