Appreciation for 9/11 service projects

3:42 pm September 26th, 2012

The Eatonville School District is very appreciative of the volunteer effort as part of the Day of Remembrance that resulted in several critical projects being completed.  Many volunteers primed and painted three new storage garages, poured concrete around the garage at the high school baseball field, built two garbage containers and fixed up the little league field at Eatonville Elementary School.  It is very gratifying to see how our community comes together to provide service in many forms, not only on this day, but throughout the year.  On behalf of the Eatonville School Directors, Josh Heersink, Director of Grounds and Maintenance and myself, “Thank You “so much for sharing your day to help us.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers (especially the kids) that made the Eatonville Post Office once again look presentable.  It is much appreciated.    Dave Ernest
