Results of the primary election will be reported in the online edition of The Dispatch tonight at about 8:30 p.m., when the first vote counts are released by the Pierce County auditor’s elections department, and will be updated whenever there are significant changes.
Voting ends today in the all-mail election. Ballots must be postmarked for the mail or delivered to official ballot dropboxes by 8 p.m.
The primary includes choices for county, state and federal offices. Most of the races are being narrowed to the final two candidates who will meet in the general election in November.
Also on the ballot is a levy for Fire District 23, which serves the Ashford, Elbe and Alder areas.
The final Pierce County results of the primary will become official Aug. 21, the date they’re scheduled to be certified by the county auditor.
